Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some of the most common questions I get from potential owners.

Q: Do you sell puppies for breeding purposes?

A: All of our puppies are sold on a spay/neuter contract and may NOT be bred. The only exception to this is when a puppy is going to a "Show" home.

Q: How hard is it to house break a Min Pin?

A: Min Pins can be hard to house break. We litter box train all puppies to newspaper starting at a couple weeks of age. This helps to make the puppies easier to house break as adults. We will give you information to help continue with the litter box training or to move to house breaking with your new puppy.

Q: Do Min Pins train well?

A: Min Pins are very smart and can train well if you keep it fun. If they get too bored or stop having fun they will stop learning. "Clicker training" is an effective way to train a Min Pin and keep it fun for you and the puppy.

Q: Are Min Pins good with kids?

A: Min Pins can be good with kids if they are raised with them, however Min Pins are not afraid to let you know when they are not happy. This can lead to a Min Pin biting a child if the child is to rough on them. Older children that know how to handle a small puppy are better suited with Min Pins.

Q: How do I get in to showing, and do you sell puppies to show?

A: We do, at times, sell puppies to "Show homes." There is a different contract for show puppies and we would be more than happy to talk to you about the ins and outs of showing if you are interested in starting.
